Kevin Rooney (born May 21, 1993 in Canton, Massachusetts) is an American professional ice hockey center. Standing 6′2″ and shooting left, Rooney went undrafted but made his mark at Providence College before signing pro. He has played in the NHL for New Jersey, New York, and Calgary, and as of 2025 is signed with the Utah Mammoth. Known for his work ethic, defensive presence, and consistency, he brings veteran depth and leadership to any roster.
