Evan Rodrigues is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who spent parts of three seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL. Born July 28, 1993, in Etobicoke, Ontario, Rodrigues played college hockey at Boston University, where he excelled alongside Jack Eichel. Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Sabres, Rodrigues built a reputation for versatility and reliable play, joining the Penguins following a mid-season trade in 2020. While with Pittsburgh, he contributed across all forward positions, posting career-best numbers in 2021–22 with 19 goals and 24 assists in 82 games. After his tenure in Pittsburgh, Rodrigues continued his NHL career with the Colorado Avalanche before signing with the Florida Panthers.
