Cade Webber

Cade Webber (born January 5, 2001, in Meadville, Pennsylvania) is a towering defenseman whose rights currently belong to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Standing 6′6″ and shooting left, Webber is known for combining size with mobility and a strong defensive presence. He spent his collegiate career at Boston University where he earned accolades like Hockey East’s Best Defensive Defenseman.

In March 2024, he was traded to Toronto from Carolina and signed a two‑year, entry‑level deal. He often plays with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL while pushing toward an NHL roster spot. His style is built around disciplined, physical play with dependable puck movement on the back end.
